This Ensign has been well cared for and maintained. Recent improvements include: reconditioned main, brightwork, non skid applied to decks and US coastguard blue gel coat. Varnished brightwork. A major upgrade is the 2025 electric Mercury (transverse flux motor) 20e outboard which produces 2.2 kW. (This is equal to 5 HP, yet the torque provided makes it seem like seven). The motor has a range of 1 to 4 hours depending on throttle. The ease of the Ezy-Stik steering under power produces great maneuverability. Roller furling jib and with all lines lead aft and there is no need to leave the cockpit when under way.
