Marlin Mujer
1967 · 46' · 2 Cabins · Pre-Owned · Fort Walton Beach, FL
Description
This 1967 47' Daytona Sportfisherman, "Marlin Mujer," is a rare survivor from the golden era of American custom sportfishing. Designed by acclaimed naval architect Bob Sherbert, she carries a pedigree and craftsmanship comparable to the revered Rybovich and Merritt yachts of the same period. Her hull is double-planked mahogany over mahogany frames and stringers, finished with a fiberglass and epoxy overlay for a structure known for both strength and longevity — and recently refreshed with new Imron Industrial 3.5 paint on the hull and foredeck. Power comes from twin Cummins 903 diesels with approximately 1,000 hours since major overhaul, supported by a Northern Lights 12kW generator.
Below deck, mahogany trim and cabinetry, a new granite galley countertop, and two staterooms sleeping up to six reflect the same attention to detail found throughout the boat. On deck, she's rigged to fish immediately with a release fighting chair, Rupp outriggers, a mahogany tackle station, and dedicated bait and ice storage. Fully operational and maintained to an exacting standard, Marlin Mujer is a rare opportunity for a knowledgeable owner who values provenance, craftsmanship, and enduring design.
