1987 Chris-Craft 427 Catalina

Chris-Craft is an iconic American boat manufacturer founded by Christopher Columbus Smith in 1874, known for pioneering stylish, high-quality, and fast wooden pleasure boats. Renowned for establishing the "standardized" runabout in the 1920s, the company (now based in Sarasota, Florida, and owned by Winnebago) focuses on luxury, hand-finished teak, and classic, timeless designs. The lineup of current models includes the Capri, Calypso, Launch, and Catalina series. The Chris-Craft 427 Catalina (produced roughly 1987–1990) is a 42-foot aft-cabin motor yacht known for its spacious, live-aboard layout, featuring dual staterooms with walk-around queen berths and ensuite heads. Built on a sturdy, modified-V hull originally designed by Uniflite, it is popular for coastal cruising with twin gas or diesel engine options, offering a stable ride. She features a large salon, a galley with full-size amenities, and a large, comfortable sundeck protected by hardtop coverage. “Double D” has been well maintained over the years and comes as a fully turn key vessel! Her bottom was stripped and painted just last year in 2025. Custom full EZ2CY hard enclosure with double hardtops and newer aft deck furniture allow for some great exterior entertaining space. Canvas and glass are in great shape on this boat! Galley microwave, aft ice maker and aft beverage cooler have recently been upgraded and replaced. Back up camera allows for easy stern first docking. She offers a ton of space both in and out, with overnight accommodations for up to 8! Currently on the hard for easy viewing and easy survey prior to Spring launch and sea trial.
