OWNER COMMENTS

A true long-range explorer, built for autonomy, safety and serious cruising. Not a coastal cruiser

styled as an explorer — the real thing. She is fully ready for the season.

Key Figures

• Steel hull (Lloyd’s certified during construction), displacement, stabilizers

• 5 cabins · 240 m² of interior living space · 2.06 m headroom in every room

• Service battery bank: 36 hours of silent operation at anchor

Why This Boat Is Different

Built by the owner, not for profit. Unlike most yachts, she was not built to be sold — she was Commissioned by her first owner for himself, to his own standards. Every choice, from the steel thickness to the joinery, the hardware and the handrails, was made for quality and longevity, not for margin. It shows everywhere you look.

Built to go far, safely. She has crossed the Atlantic twice and the Mediterranean several times. In 50 kt of wind, far from any port, you sleep well — the hull, the weight and the redundancy make her one of the safest platforms in her size range. She has handled 3–4 m seas in the Med without drama; her real limit is what’s comfortable for guests, not what she can take.

Full redundancy. Everything critical is doubled: navigation, radar, engines, water maker, pumps. A full lazarette of spares comes with the boat. The Caterpillars are deliberately simple, robust mechanics —any competent diesel engineer can service them. No waiting for a flown-in specialist.

Silent at anchor. A dedicated service battery bank gives 36 hours of silent operation — no generator running while you sleep, swim or have dinner on deck. A rare feature on a boat of this character.

Live aboard comfort, not yacht-show comfort. With a 7.2 m beam, the saloon volume rivals yachts of35 m+. We lived aboard for months with up to 12 people and there was always a quiet corner to read or take in the view.

Sea-kindly.  Stabilizers keep her flat and comfortable through typical sea states — under 1.5m, guests barely notice the motion. Her displacement also keeps her remarkably still at anchor, even in0.5 m swell — rare in this size.

Easy to handle. Hydraulic bow and stern thrusters make marina maneuvers straightforward, even short-handed or in wind.

Recent investment, ready for years ahead. Full technical overhaul of engines, shafts and crane, plus interior refit in 2020. Hydraulics, stabilizers, pumps and sea cocks renewed in 2026. No major works or

upgrades foreseen in the coming seasons.

Professionally maintained under commercial survey. For the past four years cruising, the boat has been continuously followed by a certified marine surveyor who inspects the vessel regularly and builds a structured repair and maintenance calendar.

Flexible between charter and private use. The boat can be switched from commercial charter to full private use at any time when the owner chooses to use her. The structure is designed for this flexibility.

Clean and simple ownership. Maltese flag, VAT paid, held in a company — acquisition can be done via share transfer, with a specialist maritime lawyer already in place to handle the transaction smoothly.
