2009 Grand Banks 47 Europa

This 2009 Grand Banks 47 Europa is an elegant, comfortable and versatile

cruising yacht. Powered by twin Cummins QSC8.3 550hp diesels, she is hull

number 70 with the faster Sparkman & Stephens hull design and extended

cockpit. Although her owners enjoy cruising New England waters at 8-10 knots

with excellent fuel economy, she can cruise at 18-20 knots to make a schedule.

Her walk around configuration provides a large covered cockpit with lots of

shade. Covered side decks allow secure movement all around the vessel. Crew

can run her from the large fly bridge in nice weather or from the enclosed lower

helm when it’s wet or cold. She has a galley up and two stateroom layout. The

forward master stateroom offers an island queen bed with generous storage and

ensuite head and shower. The guest stateroom has two side by side single

berths with a second head and shower opposite. Her interior displays beautiful

teak joinery and teak and holly soles throughout. Optional upgrades include

Onan 11.5kw generator, three Marine Air a/c zones, Splendide washer/dryer,

Force 10 propane cooktop/oven, starboard salon entertainment cabinet with pop

up TV, second Stidd seat and wet bar on the fly bridge, and Sidepower bow

thruster.

She comes with a 10’ AB rigid bottom tender (with a 2025 9.9hp Honda) mounted

on the boat deck and launched with a Steelhead 800R hydraulic davit system.

A head turner in any harbor, her hull is white with a flag blue boot stripe and dark

blue bottom paint. Her topsides are white with handsome teak cap rails, teak

transom, natural teak cockpit decking and side decks, and she has dark blue

canvas. Her owners have invested in professional maintenance and numerous

upgrade
