2010 Bandido 90 Explorer | Built for Longer Voyages, Designed for Life Aboard

A steel-hulled explorer with generous accommodation and an owner-reported range of approximately 3,500 nautical miles, this Bandido 90 offers the freedom to cruise further and spend longer aboard in comfort. A main-deck owner’s suite, two saloons and extensive outdoor living areas make her equally appealing for private escapes and sharing time with family and guests.

Built in Taiwan by Jade Yachts for Drettmann’s Bandido range, she combines a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with naval architecture by Vripack and exterior design by JC Espinosa. At 27.90 metres, with a 7.70-metre beam and 224 GT volume, she delivers substantial living space across her decks.

Space to settle in

The four-cabin guest layout centres on a main-deck owner’s suite with a walk-in wardrobe and spacious private bathroom. Three further guest cabins welcome family and friends, while separate accommodation forward provides two cabins for four crew, with their own bathroom, dinette, pantry and independent access.

The main saloon brings together comfortable lounge seating, dining and a bar, with a day head and direct side-deck access. Upstairs, a separate saloon adjoining the pilothouse offers a quieter retreat, giving guests a choice of spaces to relax.

Enjoy every anchorage

A sheltered aft dining area sets the scene for leisurely meals outside, while generous flybridge and sky-deck spaces offer room for sunbathing, entertaining and taking in the view. Wet bars, refrigeration, an ice maker and barbecue make outdoor living easy, with teak decking extending throughout the exterior guest areas.

The stern garage accommodates a Williams diesel tender and Sea-Doo personal watercraft, ready for trips ashore and afternoons on the water. A hydraulic gangway, hydraulic bathing ladder and underwater lighting complete the arrangement.

The capability to go further

Twin MAN D2842LE410 engines deliver 1,100 hp each through conventional shaft drives. The owner reports the following performance:

• Economical cruising: approximately 8.8 knots at 90 litres per hour

• Range: approximately 3,500 nautical miles at economical cruising speed

• Cruising: approximately 10 knots at 150 litres per hour

• Maximum speed: approximately 14 knots

• Fuel capacity: 36,000 litres

• Fresh-water capacity: 6,000 litres

Wesmar fin stabilisers enhance comfort at sea, while hydraulic bow and stern thrusters assist close-quarters manoeuvring. Two ONAN 55 kW generators, a 150-litre-per-hour watermaker and heating and air conditioning support extended stays aboard. Navigation equipment includes integrated Simrad and Raymarine systems, complemented by CCTV monitoring, dual shore-power connections and a waste-treatment system.

The owner reports approximately 5,000 engine hours and 10,000 generator hours.

Refit history and recent maintenance

A substantial 2021 refit included hull painting, teak and exterior-table restoration, shaft removal and inspection, replacement of shaft bushings and renewal of through-hull fittings, alongside checks to key mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and water systems.

The owner also reports shipyard works completed in May, including stabiliser servicing, antifouling, replacement of zinc anodes and servicing of the engines, generators and pumps.

Maltese-flagged and currently in her third ownership, this Bandido 90 is lying in Corfu, Greece.
