The “EA” History

The EA  boat was commissioned by the founder and CEO of Panasonic's European research centre for design and product innovation. Presented at the Genoa Boat Show-in September 2010 - it immediately made its mark by getting the cover of prestigious nautical magazines and winning numerous design awards for its refined aesthetic lines and technical innovation. 

The sleek lines, emphasized by the long glazed cuts in the broadside, make people enjoy, as never before, the light and the sea even while sitting in the comfort of their cabins. 

The zenithal light illuminates from the large windshield the galley below, and from the glazed broadside - for the first time in "shatterproof Lexan" - one can fully enjoy the sea and its coastline. The futuristic lines of a performance boat are contrasted by the safety of the wide "walk around" and the child-proof handrail. 

The comfort of the interior spaces and the full enjoyment of the sea in the moments of anchorage in the roadstead, through the wide and comfortable steps down to the stern make it a unique boat.

In 2017-for better enjoyment of the cockpit-it adds the "fly bridge" supported by two arched pillars that act as precursors to those recently used in fashionable nautical brands. Because of its characteristics, the boat has been used as an ideal medium for "Traveling Seminars" Seminars on the sea in search of historical roots and the fundamentals of contemporary aesthetics. 

The boat was hosted by the world's leading designers. Among them were the heads of design of Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, Nissan, HP, the president of the Industrial Design Society of America, etc..
